Discretion 1.2.0: Privacy-enhanced photo sharing app now includes Genmoji masks.
Discretion is an app designed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac that empowers users to gain control over their privacy when sharing photos. The application offers a range of features, including face masking, metadata removal, and layer flattening. These and other features enable users to safeguard their personal information from potential data breaches, doxing, AI harvesting, and other malicious activities.
Discretion supports using emojis as masks. This release now includes access to the system emoji keyboard, which means that new emojis are available soon as they are added to the system. On iPhones and iPads with Apple Intelligence support, Genmoji, Memoji, and sticker masks are available too, offering a huge range of creative masking possibilities.
Also in this release, a feature roadmap with voting has been added.
All the standard privacy features such as face masking, metadata removal, and layer flattening are available for free in Discretion.
The emoji, Genmoji, and Memoji features, and batch processing are available as an in-app purchase named Complete Discretion.
Discretion is free to download. Complete Discretion provides additional features for $4.99 for lifetime or $1.99 yearly subscription.
